When choosing to buy a computer, it may come across your mind to get a notebook or a desktop computer. While a notebook is portable, a desktop is less costly for a much more powerful machine. You may not need the top of the line computers, but their lifespan is also much much higher. They are also easier to repair and upgrade, and if you spill something on your keyboard, you would just have to replace that part instead of risking damaging your whole notebook. However, for a secondary computer, notebooks work just fine.
